What Precision Code Studios collects when you visit this site, talk to our AI assistant, call, text or email us, who processes it, and how to have it deleted.

The short version
Precision Code Studios ("PCS", "we") builds software and tests security for other companies. This site exists so that you can find out about that work and get in touch. We collect what you choose to tell us, plus the ordinary technical details any website receives, and we use it to answer you and to run the business. We do not sell personal information.
First contact with us is often handled by an AI assistant: in the chat on this site, on our phone line, by text message and by email. It always says that it is an AI. What you tell it is recorded so that a person on our team can follow up.
You can ask for everything we hold about you to be deleted at any time: tell the assistant, or write to sales@precisioncodestudios.com.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your name, company, role, email address and phone number, and what you say about your project, when you fill in the inquiry form, chat with the assistant, call, text or email us, or when we meet.
- Conversations with the assistant. The text of chats, text messages and emails, and a written transcript of phone calls. Calls are transcribed as they happen; we do not keep an audio recording.
- Technical details. Your IP address and the approximate country it belongs to, your browser and device type, language, time zone, the page you were on and the site that sent you. These come with an inquiry so we can tell real inquiries from automated ones.
- How the site is used. Pages viewed, how far an article was read, which buttons were pressed, whether a film was played, and similar events, through Google Analytics. We do not send Analytics what you type into the form or the chat. Searches on our Insights page are recorded.
- Advertising measurement. If you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google Ads records that, and whether you went on to contact us, using cookies.
Why we use it
We do not use what you tell us to train AI models, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone: the assistant gathers information and books a first call; people at PCS decide everything else.
- To answer you. To understand what you need, reply, prepare a plan, and arrange and hold a meeting, including sending a calendar invitation to the address you give.
- To keep one conversation. If you chat with us, then text, then call, we connect those so you do not have to repeat yourself. Each inquiry has a reference number you can quote.
- To run and improve the site. To see which pages and articles are useful and which are not, and to measure whether our advertising works.
- To keep things safe. To stop abuse of the chat and the phone line, and to keep records a business is expected to keep.
Calls, texts and the AI assistant
Calls to our number are answered by an AI assistant with a synthetic voice. It tells you at the start of the call that it is an AI and that the call is being transcribed. If you would rather not have the call transcribed, hang up and write to us instead.
If you give us a mobile number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Message frequency varies with the conversation, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
The assistant only calls people who have asked for a call.
Who processes it for us
We use these companies to run the site and the assistant. Each receives only what it needs for its part, under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Microsoft Azure. Hosts the site and the assistant, stores inquiry records, and delivers our notification emails. Data is stored in the United States.
- Anthropic. Provides the AI model. The text of your conversation is sent to it so the assistant can reply.
- Twilio. Carries calls and text messages, transcribes what callers say, and produces the assistant's voice, using its own speech providers.
- Google. Workspace for our email and calendar, Google Analytics for site statistics, and Google Ads for advertising measurement.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site itself needs no cookies to work. Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies to count visits and to measure advertising. The chat keeps an identifier in your browser's storage so a conversation survives a page reload.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit. Anywhere, you can switch them off with “Cookie choices” at the foot of every page, block them in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and control ad personalisation in your Google account's ad settings.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records and conversations are kept while we are in discussion with you and afterwards as part of our business records, until they are no longer needed or you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. Emails sent to our team about an inquiry stay in our mailbox under our normal email retention.
Your choices and rights
- Delete. Ask the assistant on any channel to delete your data and it will, after checking once that you mean it: your details, your conversations and your reference number are removed, and you are treated as new if you contact us again. Or write to sales@precisioncodestudios.com. Copies in emails our team has already received, and the call and message logs our telephone provider keeps, are removed separately on request.
- See or correct. Write to sales@precisioncodestudios.com and we will tell you what we hold and correct anything that is wrong.
- Where you live. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to a regulator. We will honour a request from anyone, wherever they are.
Security, children and changes
We protect what we hold with access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and by limiting who at PCS can see it. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For a change that matters, we will say so on the site.
